 I had the best time with two of my favorite people last month. Mikauli and Rachael you are BEAUTIFUL in everyway.  I will miss seeing the both of you together.  (Mikauli is moving...tear)  I am grateful for you girls. You're both fun and wacky and amazing! I love you. Thanks for letting me photograph you while you play.



Class: Art Fundamentals

Hey kids! It's time to make some art!  I am teaching a four day art class this summer for kids ages 5-8 years old.
This class is designed for kids who have expressed an interest in art and art history. They should be able to sit still and focus on painting/drawing.

Interested young artists will join me in my studio (aka kitchen) for four days of art exploration: learning about color, line, shape and texture. Our time in the studio will give each artist the chance to create 5 art projects. At the end of the workshop, parents and friends are invited to a special evening where all the little artists’ creations will be on display.

Art Fundamentals Class Outline:
Day 1: Color & Andy Warhol We will learn about mixing colors and warm vs. cool colors. For our art history lesson, we will learn about Andy Warhol.

Day 2: Lines & Picasso We will explore making all different kinds of lines and learn a little about Picasso.

Day 3: Shapes & Matisse We will take a look at some of Matisse’s work to learn about shapes and collage.

Day 4: Texture & Van Gogh We will study texture in painting with Van Gogh as our guide.

Day 5: Exhibition Night Little artists, parents, and friends will come celebrate great art.
